12 & 12:Step
10
For me, the 10th step
means to keep a check on myself through-out the day. I pray in the morning
to do God's will and not mine and to be used as an instrument. I use the
Serenity Prayer whenever necessary during the day. I try to remain humble
and realize when I have done wrong to someone, or in some way. I do my
best to become willing to make prompt amends, and then do them. I check
myself at night in my prayer and meditation with my God as I understand him.
"And acceptance is the answer to all my problems.
today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or
situation---some fact of my life---unacceptable to me, and I can find no
serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly
the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens
in God's world by mistake..."
I usually give out a homework assignment called the
Emotional Relapse Plan, that goes along
with the 10th step...Check it out!
